It's no secret that we went through a market correction. I would say it's very zip code specific, some markets worse than others. I think we can all agree, everyone has seen some decline in home price compared to this time last year. However, that doesn't mean things aren't selling, they are! The art to selling your home in todays market is two fold. Number one; You need to be realistic with price and understand price sells. Secondly, you need to stand out against the competition, fresh paint, spruced up yard (curb appeal), new carpet. Those are the things that buyers will remember when it comes time compare homes.
The good news (finally GOOD news!) If you understand those two key concepts your more likely to sell in todays market and move on... Also, the added bonus is this; Sell for what you think is a loss now and you'll be able to regain that loss when you go to buy. Remember, you always make money of Real Estate when you buy!!! (get the good deal upfront and let the appreciation take care of the rest)
